Agenda
President's Report: Participated in Purcellville and Leesburg clean-up days. Great way to meet members and learn about what folks are up to. I attended the Wild Apricot training. Kidwind is gearing back up and I am excited about that. We are a volunteer-run organization and I want to thank all of the volunteers past and present for stepping up. Just to highlight a few of the many. Sally Soles has agreed to be the marketing chair. Also, John Carter has taken over the Leesburg site steward role from Jesse Maloney. Thank you both for stepping up for these vital roles and thank you to Jesse for her stewardship over the years. I also want to thank Mark Millsap for his efforts as the membership chair and for his leadership in planning improvements to the downstairs electronics work area at MS-L. Mark stayed on until the last board meeting after having announced his desire to step down as membership chair at the end of the summer. We look forward to welcoming a new membership chair, hopefully following the next board meeting.
